Lagrange Parking – Turin city center
December 12, 2013
In Piazza Lagrange, the heart of Torino's city center, new underground parkings will soon be available.
The tender was won by LL Italia Group, a prestigious engineering company which relied on Giugiaro Architettura for the styling and overground arrangement of the square, urban furniture and exits.
The area will be pedestrianised and renovated with quality materials, integrating with the historical design of the surrounding area.
The main pedestrian exit will be found in a new, specific structure whose design is evocative of the typical Turinian arches, in this element declined in a contemporary style.
Technically, the car exit will be equipped with an automated antifreeze system.
The project of the garages has been developed with the specific goal of reducing construction times and re-establish full use of the square very rapidly.
