The redevelopment project of Corso Regina Margherita in Turin involves the transformation of the former Italgas headquarters into a new innovation hub. Covering an area of ​​44,000 square meters, it includes 14,000 square meters of technical and digital research laboratories, offices, warehouses and a new 1,850- square-meter Research and Innovation Hub, with an all-wood structure. The Hub will house laboratories, rooms for internal courses, a cybersecurity room and a gas training course. Research activities on biomethane, synthetic methane and green hydrogen will take place here.

The renovation will improve safety and energy savings of existing buildings, with new green spaces, pedestrian and bicycle paths and car parks with electric vehicles charging. Over 1,600 photovoltaic panels will be installed for energy autonomy and the elimination of CO2 emissions, along with solar thermal systems for hot water. New spectacular lighting will also be provided for the historic gasometers.
